| The personification of virtues as angelic permeate through different cultures. Michael battles evil beings in more than just the Judeo/Christian texts. Gabriel delivers messages to people all over the world. And the Blind lady with the scales measures the worth of the soul to many cultures. It is the similarities between the representations of Maat, Lady Justice and others, coupled with lines in the psalms lead me to see this virtue personified with the other angle.
I have tried draw and write about this several times. Each time not quite getting at what I want and so, will continue. But that said, this is one of the better attempts I have made.
